SNI Companies seeks a professional looking to advance their career in the field of taxes and accounting, and who wishes to be part of a family style work atmosphere. We are seeking a staff level accountant, looking for growth and mentorship opportunities. This will be onsite M-F in Boca Raton, FL.

Job Description
You will be responsible for tax returns, light bookkeeping, sales taxes, and client payroll preparation. Generally, support the Accounting team and assist in accurate and timely financial preparation of client documents/statements.

Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping/tax experience
  • Preparation of tax returns, including 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns (940, 941, and state agency returns)
  • Preparation of sales tax returns/reporting
  • Preparation of financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annually), including P&L, Balance Sheet, Reconciliations, Payroll Entries etc.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Emphasis on use of Excel)
  • Proficient ability in use of tax preparation software/ Ability to analyze and review financial statements
  • Good knowledge of U.S. GAAP/financial reporting
  • Ability to work with and develop team members. Team player with strong communication, time management, organization, and analytical skills
